As for developing breasts, and the pencil test:  When I take the pencil test while sitting, I pass.  When standing, I fail.  Are they breasts) developing?  Unfortunately, I did not take the test BEFORE I was on hormones, but I think I am getting bigger.

The pencil test should be done standing up, and if you are able to pass the pencil test then you obviously have breast tissue sufficient to hold the pencil.

My wife could probably hold a banana under hers.    I know she wants a breast reduction ASAP.  For me, it sounds like we're at about the same point.  I can pass the test sitting, but not standing.  So, I've been going braless for now.  Might as well enjoy it while it lasts.

Thanks a lot ladies you have really given my self esteem a real blow.  I had just begun to fill a nearly B bra and was really feeling happy with myself and you go and knock the wind out of my sails with a new test that I fail miserably. 

All kidding aside it is as I told my spouse many times in our earlier years of marriage, enough to look nice is great, a lot more is just wasted; and that's my story and I am sticking with it. 

Keep in mind ladies that smaller breasts mean you can sometimes get by with out always wearing a bra.

Caitlyn, that doesn't mean they're not big enough. If you don't pass the pencil test that means they're too friggin perky. Get over it girl, lots of bio-women would die for that.

And on the cautionary front, strap em down before you do develop saggy boobs.

Of course Dennis is quite right.  Also the phrase "Quality not quantity" comes to mind caitlyn.  I can't pass the pencil test either, but that doesn't bother me.  I fill an A cup quite nicely, thank you very much, and if that's as big as they get then so be it.  I like em...

You get what grows, according to the amount of tissue available in your chest to grow them.

This pencil test seems a silly idea to me, just a bit, because if you pass it, all well and good, but can you take it if you never pass the test.

Unless you've the howevermany grand for a boob job, and we don't all heve it then...........

I really think that the test is meant in light hearted way and no one should place any credence on it, or even consider it scientific.

Perky is nice.

I remember an early mammogram when the xray tech said something to the effect that my breasts (then a near B) were rather perky for my age.

I replied that they were 3 year old breasts on a 64 year-old body. 

She about convulsed over that one.

Blah, another test.  I have never tried this but my breasts are large but cone shaped.  Therefore, although I fill a 38-B quite nicely I doubt that a pencil would stay.  However, I most definately need to wear a bra as it can be quite a painful experience to go without.

Thank you, Dennis, for introducing the word "perky" to this thread.  I always knew it was less about personality, especially when it was never applied to those women with too small or too big boobs
