"Meanwhile, fifteen international medical specialists and professors
asked Kuwait to abolish Article No. 198 which incriminates
cross-dressing, reports Al-Rai daily. Sources say these specialists
sent a letter to the former Parliamentary speaker asking him to get
the article cancelled and cited several studies on this issue. The
specialists mentioned that there is a concept called sexual identity
in psychology which makes some persons internally feel like the person
of the opposite gender."
