I am a student at Johansen High School and I participated in the National Day of Silence at school. People thought it was only for gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender people; but it wasn't only for them. It was for people who are bullied in general. Because you might be GLBT or different doesn't mean you should be harassed to the point where you have suicidal thoughts. Believe it or not, those thoughts accrue when you are being bullied or harassed.
