A seminar that essentially was to provide information to impressionable school-age boys on how to be homosexual was canceled, according to a pro-family organization monitoring the plans, following WND's report on the developing situation.

The seminar called "Queer, Questioning, Quiet: Developing Gender & Male Sexual Orientation" had been promoted by the Boys to Men organization in Portland, Maine, as a feature of its recent conference.

Doesn't everyone know?

You've got to go to *school* to learn how to be GAY???

What's next?  a How-to-Be-Blonde seminar?  How-to-Pass-Gas?  How-to-Be-a-Tree?  How-to-Have-Big-Ears?   

I guess my point is that if you think kids have to be taught this, you've got some serious problems.  We do need acceptance.  We don't need propaganda.

It wasn't evident from the WND article, but the focus of the workshop actually looked decent, including things such as showing boys positive role models besides macho hetero brute type, and teaching them that it's OK to be who they are, as gay and queer men. Too bad the opposition succeeded in their efforts in canceling it.
