STP Question

I've been using my STP for about a week, 100% at home so I can practice, but this weekend ventured out to work with it.  Not an issue as we have unisex single stall bathrooms (I'm not quite ready for urinal use yet).

So far, so good, I can position it rather easily with no leaks.  The problem comes when I'm practicing to use a urinal with minimal clothing removal (ie just belt and zipper undone without pulling my pants down).  I can position it fairly easily (though not quick enough for a urinal I don't think) but when I'm done, even shaking it, squeezing out the excess, etc, when I put it back into my pants there is some residual urine that dribbles out.

Any tips for preventing or dealing with that?

Thanks!

Where did you get yours? I've been looking at a few different choices for a while but am unsure as to which I should get. I'm also unsure about the size, it seems that there are only really big ones or really small ones out there. lol

Try practicing cupping the device so that others can't see it. You can rinse and dry it off while washing your hands. Of course this depends on the device you got and how big it is.

On the advice of another guy on another forum I got the 5.5" Mango from Mango.  The receptacle is comfortable, the longer tube might be a nice option.  The size is a bit large but really isn't as noticeable or obvious as it seems to me when I look down.  I imagine it to be huge but in the mirror it's barely noticeable (the bulge in my pants).  Practical use I'm not sure how the 3.5" would work with regards to making it over the toilet or urinal; seems short for that purpose.  I do have a 3.5" packy but realistically after using the larger stp mango, I really think I'd dribble a lot more on the front of my pants with the shorter one.  Maybe I'm just incoordinated, LOL.

I'm still figuring out the best position for packing in public with it.  At home it doesn't matter.  And I'm anal retentive in that it has to be anatomically correct in its placement or it just feels plain silly.

I have the 5.5" mango that looks like a prosthetic.  Not sure rinsing a rubber dick in the sink would go over well with the bio-guys, LOL.  I'm less concerned about rinsing (I can rinse later).  It's just that it seems to retain a half-teaspoon or more of liquid that makes my shorts wet when I zip back up.  How to get the last bit out (or most) is my issue.

lol Sorry dude I was thinking more along the lines of a regular stp device, not a packy. *smacks head with laptop* Doi!

Hmm... I think the inner tube is removable in the Mango, I could be wrong though, but if so try running water through it and seeing where the liquid is getting caught. Maybe you can determine from that what angle is best to hold it at to get the rest out.

So yeah, the only thing I can think of is to try adjusting the angle and see what happens.

Though you could try power pissin to force it all out. lol Have you heard someone do that? It's like a jet engine going off. :icon_yikes:

I think that's my problem.  The receptacle is lower than the bottom of the zipper and I'm trying NOT to lower my pants in preparation for attempting urinals in the (near) future. So there is some residual in the receptacle and back part of the tubing.  I'm trying to figure out how to bend up the receptacle to drain it with the tip still over the toilet/urinal to drain but I haven't been 100% successful at it.  Once at work I made a slight mess and was damp for a while.  I felt like a first-grader who couldn't quite hold it, LOL.

At least it's the night shift and it's fairly quiet with minimal coworkers, LOL.

Sad to say this... but most guys dribble just a little.... unless there ultra neat squeeze it out and actually wipe...

Thanks Lynn!  I figured there'd be a dribble...I just need to decrease the teaspoon to a dribble. ;)  So I'm not like really damp. ;)

I'm glad Lynn responded because I was thinking the same thing.

That is one of the devices I have been looking at for a while now. I never knew anyone that used one before, so thanks for your input!
