Depends on how well you pass.  I wouldn't try it personally until I'm pretty sure I'm passable.  I'm almost there, depending on the place.  If I'm with my kids and sure I'm not passing I use the ladies.  We went to a theme park recently and I thought I was fairly passable and did NOT want to use the ladies room so thankfully they had family bathrooms.

I'll be using the men's room soon, probably in stores when I don't have my kids.  I almost have the stp mastered.

I don't usually use public bathrooms, but when I really have to I use the mens. I feel like such a creep if I use the ladies!
I do agree with Jay though, it all depends on how well you pass.

im getting my hair cut tomorrow after school, and the binder went well today, and ima start shaving my peach fuzz soon i think... so i'll try to get a picture up.

well... its all gone. i got some guys shorts, and i have to say... i look a lot more like a guy than i thought. when i was wearing the girl pant before i got the shorts, this little girl kept staring at me. >_> then i bought them and changed, and i didnt get a second glance!

it seems like its the neck and chin that makes a face seem the most girly.  my nek is too thinm but i think my chin is okay.  if you have the too thin neck problem, try holding weights and doing shoulder shrugs.

I have a thick neck and a double chin.  It's definitely time to work out before I start T.  Not passing is helping convince me it's time to lose fat and bulk up.

As far as passing, I was shopping in the men's section of a store today and just acted very confident in what I was doing.  I didn't pay any attention to any other guys shopping so I don't know if I passed or not.  I had to use the rest room but decided to wait until I got home.

But seriously thanks for the encouraging comments. I keep going back and forth on my passability. More often than not I think I'm lookin alright and don't need to worry, then I hear someone say "excuse me ma'am" and the sort. *sigh*

The trouble with using a picture to determine that is that as humans we use a lot more criteria than that to determine gender, something like 18.  Which is why kids see through it so fast sometimes.  Its often not the big huge things, but a thing so slight that we only see it on a subconscious level.  In other words, we know somehow without thinking.

I think you got pretty lucky with your face, it doesn't look girly at all--it's rather long and your nose is not feminine too. And with your new cut...well, your head definitely passes. 
These pictures make me really excited about my own hair cut. I plan on cutting it as soon as I graduated (which will be in about a month) because for once I'm not keen on all that stupid questions, but it's mainly because it has been dyed for three years now and I want to see my actual hair color again so I wait until the roots have grown out enough to leave me with something that's more than an inch long.


Public restrooms, well, I'm happy I have no actual classes anymore and am only for a couple of hours in school each day, so I can avoid them. I probably don't pass that well yet that using the girls' would really be a problem (and many people in school now me from seeing anyway), but I've always felt like an alien in the girls' restroom and this didn't really improve by trying to pass...
(And I have the hope that at least a few in hundred students thinks I'm a guy, so I don't want to be seen using the girls' )

haha thanks everyone.   i think the haircut and not-girl pants sorted everything out.  looks like i even have acne in the classic guy spots. (argh >_< )  the only thing is the boobs.  theyre pretty flat, but my chest looks bigger than it should.

Oh dude, no bueno! That would be hella weird! 

I think it's a confidence thing, mostly. I mean, as long as you're wearing fairly masculine clothes and your chest isn't obvious, you could just be a feminine/young boy. I personally am not confident enough to use the men's room, yet I get awkward glances, glares, and "Excuse me, this is the LADIES room :|" all the time. x_x

One thing I like about living in the bay area, is there are a LOT of unisex bathrooms, although I've used the mens room since I was 14/15, while out at a bar it sucks waiting in line 10 mins to use the piss covered toilet. I think I might get a packer you can pee out of, just to see what it's like to pee all over the toilet seat, ha.
But yeah, use what bathroom you want to use. If it's the men's, walk in, don't look at anyone, and go do your business. Wash your hands, and leave.
