How will the pregnant man's daughter thank him for this breathtakingly cynical -and profitable - foray into gay rights?

"With an eight-month bump and a beard, he claims to be the world's
first pregnant man. This week, the Mail paid Thomas Beatie a visit and
discovered a tale of greed, gay rights zealotry and breathtaking
cynicism."

Oh that's just horrible.  I HATE the Mail!  It's the most revolting rag in existance, filled with nothing but bigotry and scaremongering.  They go after the most vulnerable people in society--single parents, asylum seekers, sexual minorities--trying to turn anyone who isn't a lily-white little-Englander into a bug-eyed monster.  And now they're going after these two parents, who are already being subjected to abuse from all sides.

As for how his daughter will thank him--well, who knows; anything is possible.  But I bet that someone who was prepared to struggle so hard for a chance to bring her into the world is going to be a lot more fit for the job than a lot of dads.
