I dont realy dont know how to bring this so il just say it flat out ... keep in mind i dont want to come over rude or anything  :-\

I was wonder if there are any other people out there play this or any other Massive online Role playing game's

to forget about the real life trouble and enter a digital fantasy world where u can be somebody els....

For those who never done any MMO games

there basicly games where u can create a character costumise ur looks hairstyle colourse skinn colour piercings ear rings....horn styles tusk style (for the fiction based races) mostly u can choose the gender ..race..and class

after u make a character u enter a Online World full of Real people u meen and can talk to

u can group up with other players to defeat monsters that can drop better gear etc
u can play PvP players versus player if u like to test ur skill to fight other players in the game

there are also Roleplaying realms where u realy Roleplay your character

and there is much more this game can offer
u can google World of warcraft and check the website if ur intrested

this game is been the best MMORPG/ RPG game for the last 3years

( not my opinion but peoples vote )

I know quite a few people who play WoW, but I've never done it myself.

Having been heavily, heavily involved in MMOGs in the past I really don't think they're the best thing for TG or anyone else with major life issues to get into. They're designed to absorb as much time as you can give them and still not be enough (at least WoW is), and over the years I've seen several TG people have their world crash down over it. Let alone all the normal people who get far too wrapped up in it.

Second life, uh god, furcadia, and a lot of other online worlds/communities draw in people much the same way.

Between everquest and WoW I had something around 400 days /played (10000 hours.)

Guild Wars way better than WoW IMHO.
And it has less of a Life-Sucking effect.

I play EverQuest 2.  I started playing EQ1 in 2000, and I've been playing with my current guild since around 2002.  We all moved from EQ1 to EQ2 when it was released.  It can be a time sink, and I doubt I would still be playing if it wasn't with my guild.  We're a small group, and all pretty laid-back.  So no uber-gaming for us - real life always comes first.

I used to put in ridiculous hours playing EQ1, but I can't be dedicating that much time to a game these days.  Since I started playing EQ2 in 2004, my two characters only have about 60 days of play time logged, combined.  I play often, to see my guildmates and run my little weaponsmith business, but my play sessions aren't the marathons they used to be.
one day . i am gonna grow wings . a chemical reaction . hysterical and useless

I didn't mean to attack you or hurt your feelings, my apologies for that. I'm not one to censor questions. A lot of people fall victim (it feels cliched to call it that) to getting wholly absorbed in mmogs, and trans people are, i imagine, more inclined since the escape is on multiple levels. I just think people should be careful that they don't let themselves be carried away, I've seen a lot of people latch onto the games and just let their lives dissolve. When you feel like your life is a mistake not worth living anyway (someone pre-transition or unable to), it's a particularly enticing trap.

WOW is highly addictive, it is a game that cannot be played for only afew hours aweek.  You're either 'gotta' play for 30 hrs+ or not play at all.  LOL

People have an extra 30 hours a week to play a game?
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Unfortunatly, no one can be ... _told_ what the Second Life is ... you have to see it for yourself ..

Great game Scarlet. I haven't been on in awhile because I'm at a training academy right now. But I played this game riligously for a couple years until I came here. Best game EVER but soooooooooooo addictive. Yes, it is a great escape and has tons to offer including what seems like no end. Always something to do on the game. I played for hours and hours and hours and hours!!!!
If you have the time to play then it's a great game. If you have other obligations...don't even think about it!!

I have a 70 Mage, 70 Druid and a few other lower level characters on Draka Server. Where are you?

Im a big wow fan too

ive been playing on horde / outland / euro for around 2 years and yes the comments about it absorbing your life are true, if you balance it out it can be a very rewarding experience.

the guild im with only raid 2x a week and are really just for fun(our guidlname too) which is emmense fun for my healing priest (if that means anything to anyone here :P) and i find the friday and sunday night we play a great way to unwind from my GID and general life stress.

it does take about a 3 week initital commitment though, this is how long it takes to get a char to level 70

anyway just my 2 pennies, my priest is called Heraler if anyones ever passing :)

I never got into any of the MMORPG's, thank Goddess, but I can imagine just how bad it must get, when I compare how many hours I wasted on Neverwinter Nights and Baldur's Gate and other RPG's. When you don't particularly like your life or your gender, it's very seductive to go and live a better life somewhere else...

I agree that mesmers are the win, but paragons are boring as all get-out.

I blame it on Anet's terrible skill balancing.  Consider for example the fact that Warrior and Ritualist skills are awesome on just about every character but a Warrior or a Ritualist.

I swear if I see one more person running Sabway, I will cry.  Necromancers shouldn't be better healers than monks.  There's just something inherently wrong about it.  And don't even get me started on Ursanway.  That is the most broken thing I have ever seen.  Other than Sabway/Necroway, of course.
