I was wondering if anyone here had any complications, or been rejected for surgery for being overweight.  I'm scheduled for SRS in August, and right now that's the only thing bothering me.  I've lost about 15 pounds in the last two months, but I'm nowhere near where I was 5 years ago.  How do they determine if you're healthy enough to have surgery?

I believe every surgeon sets their own requirements...

If age is under 45, the acceptable weight will be not more than 105 kg (230 Pound)

If age is between 45-60, the acceptable weight will be not more than 95 kg.(210 Pound)

# For those whose height is more than 6' (180 cm)

If age is under 45, the acceptable weight will be not more than 110 kg (240 Pound)

If age is between 45-60, the acceptable weight will be not more than 100 kg.(220 Pound)

For incoming patients, please note that you must control your weight to be acceptable at the time of consultation. Otherwise your surgery might be postponed.
