Gays reach out to mega-churches

Alongside a group of gay Christians, their family members and clergy — including Jay Bakker, the son of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker — they met with Willow Creek leadership, hoping to begin a cordial dialogue about how the church views homosexuality."

Jay Bakker is a very interesting person.

May I suggest we tackle the biggest of the Megachurches, namely the one that resides at Vatican City, a state that has a representative at the United Nations?  Just a thought my friends...

MEGA church refers to individual houses of worship, independent of authority with membership in the thousands.  The Roman Catholic Church is better referred to as an institution.  A totally different deal.  And, so far as I know, the RCC has not taken an ecumenical stance on TS - except where sex is involved.
