"Berry, visiting from Blaine, Wash., with her partner of seven years, Roby Sapp, had just returned from testing that theory Sunday afternoon at the Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Ill., one of the Midwest's largest churches. Alongside a group of gay Christians, their family members and clergy — including Jay Bakker, the son of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker — they met with Willow Creek leadership, hoping to begin a cordial dialogue about how the church views homosexuality."

May I suggest we tackle the biggest of the Megachurches, namely the one that resides at Vatican City, a state that has a representative at the United Nations?  Just a thought my friends... :-\

MEGA church refers to individual houses of worship, independent of authority with membership in the thousands.  The Roman Catholic Church is better referred to as an institution.  A totally different deal.  And, so far as I know, the RCC has not taken an ecumenical stance on TS - except where sex is involved.
