If you don't want to disclose the reasons, that is fine.

I like to play chess, do computer artwork, play video games, read, watch anime, and even do a little computer programming.

Lets see if I can explain why. I like to play chess because it is entertaining, I can chat with others, and because I want to stay mentally competent. I love doing computer artwork because it allows me to express myself in ways I never knew were possible. I like playing video games because it gives me an escape. I like to read because I want to learn about new things in the world. Finally I like to do computer programming because I'm a person who loves a good challenge.

Hopefully I'll put up some of my artwork in the future. I've drawn on the computer for about two years now. So I'm relatively new to it.

If anyone hasn't guessed my name, it is an assembly instruction. It stands for jump if equal.

I hope to learn about the other people in this little place. Maybe I'll find someone who has similar interests as me. :)

I read a lot.  Take photos, hike and bike, and go out dancing.

*gives a friendly nudge to the topic* Did I ask a bad question? *smacks self over head for asking a dumb question* I apologize for asking this question.

Thank you to the person who was brave enough to answer my dumb question.

I'll hang in there and see if I can get some more replys.

Nah, seems like an OK question to me.

I guess I didn't answer part of it, so I will try.  I read a lot, I don't know why.  Just always have.  And I read just about everything.  I take pictures of flowers a lot because that appeals to my fem side, and of theatres because I have unique access.  I hike and bike because I like nature and staying in shape, and it makes the world a livable, doable space.  I love to dance because I've got the music in me.

I'm a big reader as well. I'll read just about anything as long as it sparks my interest. Thanks for replying. I'm kind of glad that someone didn't see my question as too bad.

Not a bad question, just too busy to answer  :)

Music! Playing music, writing music, listening to music. ;D Besides that, I like to read, write, take walks, cook, activism, change the world... then there's gender issues, which also seems to take up a lot of time  ;D

For many years I was very much into pc-games as all boys are, though brains clearly dominated over brawns in those dozens of games I had. But there's barely anything new and interesting anymore, so I mostly got away from that. (Though I still sometimes play some of a handfull of games from the late 90's :D).
Sci-fi stuff was very cool for me for a long time, too and I read thousands of pages of novels. I later came to fantasy and it's currently my dominant hobby, as I'm writing on a large scale background setting for a Pen-and-Paper game for about four years now.
Music is also always good, thoug I wouldn't call that a hoby. Unless I'm at university, music is running for 18 hours a day at my place. Mostly a broad range of metal, with a great bunch of movie soundtracks added to that.

But I'm not really sure it's connected to androgyny in any way, since my little brother has very similar interest and he's what you could call a "heterosexual bear". And all my friends pursue similar interest, as I pick them mostly by these criterias. And though I have to say it's a quite sexualy-liberal (gender and orientation-wise, don't get any wrong impressions!!! :D) millieu, I'm quite an oddity among all those "averages".

I love to read.  I have stacks and stacks of manga and stacks of regular books too.  I used to work in a bookstore...could have done it forever if I could've made a living at it.  I've always been a big reader.  Honestly, besides just enjoying reading, I think that books are a safety zone...books won't let you down.  Well...at least I realize it, right?  :D  But I'll read anything that holds my interest, so a lot of it is that I just like to read.

I also enjoy ANIME!!!  I don't watch as much as I used to, but I still go to anime club at the local university in fall/spring.  I think I've seen most of the essential anime already, so now I mostly watch new stuff.  I love all genres of manga and anime, including yaoi.  I think I like yaoi because I can relate to that better than shoujo romance.  But I like shoujo too.  My favorite movie is Howl's Moving Castle...I love Miyazaki.

I'm not very good at video games.  I get nervous.  But I like Wii sports and Wario.  I especially love wii tennis!  I can do games like that.  Or Tetris.  You know what's really sad?  I got one of those new Atari's with the games built in and I SUCK at Pong.  How do you suck at Pong?  heh.  Actually, all of those 8bit games are kind of hard after playing the pretty games we have today.

I'm pretty outdoorsy...although I don't do a lot in the way of outdoorsy things anymore.  I don't have anyone to do them with.  I love taking walks, playing catch or frisbee, hiking, etc.  If I ever get a bike, I'll ride it.

My friends and I (when we actually get together) usually go to the drive-in (which is AWESOME), see superhero films (often at the midnight showings), or play board games.  I really like stuff like that.  I also love haunted houses (real and entertainment...Waverly Hills is in Louisville!!!! And it's totally awesome).  We also go to concerts, if there's someone worth watching.  Local bands are fun and every now and then, a good band will come through (like Tiger Army!).

I spend most of my time by myself though.  My roommates are okay, but they are very empty people, I think.  They are severely lacking in substance and that annoys me.  I'm not good at empty conversation.

That's about it.  I don't do much.  :P

Along with the others here I like to read, but it is hard to find time for that these days.

I enjoy computers as well, and have transformed that interest into a paycheck.

Never was much into games of any kind.

And oddly - I have an auto that I built myself and that I drag race at the local tracks  The adrenaline rush is addictive.

I like reading, and poetry, and crossword puzzles. Words and how they can communicate meaning fascinate me. I try to understand what it is to be a person, how it feels from the inside.

When I get the chance, I hike, bike, canoe, or kayak. Pick wild blueberries or asparagus. Camp in a tent. My inner city childhood fantasy was to live in the wild, surrounded by animals. I need wilderness and solitude.

I enjoy knitting, sewing, and cooking, though I've only been able to make time for the latter of late. They satisfy creative urges, and occupy both my mind and my hands.

I like to explore a place, through reading and in person, until I have a feel for it. I like to explore people--one by one, getting a feel for each.

I spend alot of time on the computer playing a variety of games, most within the realm of fantasy MMOs though I enjoy other kinds of games too (like Guitar Hero 1-3 :D) I like to play games like MMOs because they let me create a character and make them how I want to be, so it's an escape from dysphoria I feel with my body sometimes if I can play something that I created  and had control of every aspect of the creation process.

I love to read; science fiction and fantasy, suspense/thriller/murder mystery, and the occasional piece of non-fiction work. Reading is just overall soothing and because I have a good imagination, it's a new adventure every time I pick up a book.

I love listening to music, anything from electronica to metal to rock/hard rock, new age/ambient, traditional celtic and celtic fusion and just about anything else you can think of I'd give it a chance :P Music has always been something I can relate to on a deep and sometimes spiritual level. It helps me relax or it can get the adrenaline going and my ears just love to listen.

My other hobbies include watching movies, writing poetry and short stories, creating tattoo designs and pixel art with photoshop, spending time with my dog and cats, enjoying the outdoors, etc..

My backyard garden draws much attention, it is a haven to me from the busyness of life.  But I enjoy biking and reading, and I am a member of several LGBT organizations for equality.

After seeing "Sex and the City" the movie, I am going back and watching all the episodes again, quite enjoyable.

I read and write, hike and bike. I enjoy music, both listening to it and playing it. Guitar is my main instrument, but I play keyboards a bit, and have some hand drums. I play some computer games.

Why do I do these things? Because they're enjoyable to me. Really, that's the only reason.

I thought faith was real, not a cartoon, or else I would worship Foghorn Leghorn.

I had my hands and feet pierced for just such an occasion.
