Discrimination very real for transgender people

This is a response to Mr. Jeffrey Winslow's article concerning transgender discrimination and care (May 25: "Transgender debate not rooted in discrimination").

In reading his response to a previous letter, I see two different discussions happening here.

One is whether or not ->-bleeped-<- actually exists in our society and how to care for people that suffer from its impact on their lives.

The second is whether people that suffer from a gender disphoric condition should have equal rights with everyone else.
