Helsinki Pride, Finland's largest gay, lesbian, bisexual and transsexual event, is to begin on Monday.

This year's theme is sustainable development.

The organisers' goal has been to create an environmentally friendly and sustainable event. Ecology has been taken into account both when organising the event and in its programme content.
