"The first person I admitted my crossdressing to was the first psychologist I went to. It took me a while to say the word "crossdresser", and when I did, he asked what that was!  Then I had to explain what a crossdresser is, and he said he'd never heard of guys doing that! He then insinuated the inevitable – that I'm gay (or "cross-sexual" as he called it)."

I find that hard - but not impossible - to believe.  Its not like its something new.
