Catching Up

"I'm finding my heart is filled with a strange mix of emotions and my mind a little distracted looking ahead to Thursday. Some parts of me, although forced to be silent, have been anticipating this with painful longing every day of my existance. This is physical and real.

The flip side is that my starting hormones is the part of transition that my wife has been dreading due to the effect they will have on my body, our sex life and possibly her physical attraction to me. Although comfortable with a non-traditionally gendered relationship, the fact remains that her sexuality is hetero and she will miss that variation of sex very much, thank you."
