Here I am stuck in St. Paul (well, actually in Eagan because I'm at work) when I should be getting on a plane to fly to San Francisco.  Hearts on Fire, the Lutherans Concerned assembly, starts tomorrow and goes through Sunday.  Since my life fell apart in January I have resigned from the board of directors and won't be giving any of the workshops I was scheduled to do.  I'm not even going this year.  These are people who have been my support network and friends for many years, and I feel cut off from them.  This will be a very lonely weekend.

In other news, my landlady says I need to move out August 31st because she's going to abopt a child and needs my room.

I'm sorry you are not going to be able to make it out west this year.  It looks like a great convention.

Anyplace that has a music store just two blocks away has got to be a good place!  The prices weren't too bad for guitars!
