Hey everyone,

    I just wanted to share what happened to me today. See, I was working for a security company for a little while before I began to transition, so I was Mary to everyone. I quit only a month ago when things began to get difficult with telling my kids and all kinds of other stuff. So, today with my name change only 3 weeks away from being legal, I went to see the people I worked for and try to tell them what I am begining to do, to go from a FtM and my boss was tripping out. He was trying to understand what I was telling him, and then he says he needed to go get the HR guy to see how to handle this. My boss didn't even know what a transsexual was then I explained and he was asking me all these questions like is my face going to change and am I going to look different, and the best one was "are you going to have a fake one?" He was too comical. Then the HR guy took it better, but told me not to eat Tyson chicken since they pump them with growth hormones. He sais they will make boobs grow back. It was all very entertaining to say the least, and it went better than I had expected. The HR guy is going to call the corperate office to see how to handle this sort of thing with the name change and so forth. I told them if they want me back now and send me to a new post where no one knows me I pass for a guy before T anyway as long as I go in as Marco and then change the paperwork as the documents change. I figure the worst thing is the company won't beable to change my sex in their system until all surgery is done. I just need  to go back to work!

Pretty funny stuff, that would make for a great scene.  By the way what the heck is "Tyson" chicken.  I've never heard of that way up here

Hey Steph,
 
        Tyson is a brand of chicken, and I guess the big Tyson Farms are in Arkansas which is where the HR guy is from so he has alot of insight of what goes on on these farms but they inject the chickens with griwth hormones so they become very big chickens when they meet their doom and therfore we get bigger chiken breasts and what not.

     Thanks, I hope I do get my job back. I think they are woking on it. I should know in a few days. I think people should educate themselves on things they dont understand.
