Has anyone else noticed that throughout Susan's some of the "Last Post"s are down as happening in 2025? Am I missing something? Not that 2025's bad or anything, but I'm a wee bit confused... :icon_confused2:

LOL  ;D  I noticed that, then I realized my "age" was twenty something years old.  LOL hey that works for me, but yes, I had already noticed that! Some people's birthdays were rather "old"  ;D >:D...(i, e. 82, 79, 66, etc)..I mean, come on!   ;D

Odd little song that, but anyone who was even remotely alive that summer of '69 would have to remember it as it was the number one song most of the summer, odd that an anti-technological song would be top of the pops as man was walking on the moon for the first time, but so it goes.

Even odder, the song was written in like '64 or so when the two were at a religious college and put out on a religious label, someone at a radio station began playing it that year and RCA had Zager and Evans re-record it.

Danny Zagar is still around, he builds awesome custom guitars.  A friend of mine plays one and swears that for around $700 bucks it sounds better and plays easier than his $3000 custom.

No problem a friend of mine got one and ditched his custom Taylor ($2,700) within in the month.

This is cruel and unusual punishment, Tekla!

How the devil am I going to muster up $700 for one of these before he retires?!

I think his son is making most of them now.  At any rate, in my world $700 for a good guitar is like dirt cheep.

Oh, I agree on the price!  Its just finding the $700!

It plays as well, if not better than any guitar I've ever had in my hands, with one or two exceptions, and those are electrics not acoustics.  The tone sounds good and solid, perhaps not up to a vintage Martin, but better than any current made ones.
