Thanks ell!!

Hmm...My sister says one of the reasons she could never be lesbian is that vaginas gross her out :-\ I just figured I had the same thing going with me and penises.

And here I thought most bio-males LOVED their own penises...as playthings...  ::)

I haven't really thought of it that way yet.  All I know is other guy's penises are disgusting, but I've only ever thought about it sexually because I thought I was a straight female for 18 years and the thought of ever seeing one terrified me. I just recently realized that I've only seen it that way, so I'm getting more and more eager about the thought of a packer/STP...cause I never thought about a penis on me. Maybe I will like it that way Jay, who knows :P

I don't know if you're still considering the packer on Good Vibes, but just as a warning, they seem to be shipping really slow. I e-mailed them about it and they said that they're waiting on a shipment and don't know when they'll be shipping the packers out next. But that was for the vanilla ones, I don't know if the situation is the same with the chocolate ones, maybe they can ship those out right away? Anyways, thought you might want a heads up if you were thinking about them.

If you think penises are disgusting, you might react very badly to phalloplasty. See, you don't like dicks, and you've never had to look at your own 3 or 4 times a day. It might be a shock to you. You've got to remember that these things are irreversible, and I know if I hated dicks that I wouldn't be considering getting one myself.

Like I said before, most of my life I've been more obsessed with the upper portion of a male's body. I never said I was considering phalloplasty, I would just be happy with an STP. I realize that you really want a penis, but I figure not every male does. Some of us just want T, some of us don't want surgery at all.....Personally I just want the STP and end it at that, when it comes to my lower half. (Oh, and T to get my legs hairier....I hate wearing shorts, my legs are too smooth even without shaving).

IMHO standing to pee really only comes in handy when you're out in the wilderness and you've had a few cokes too many.  Other than that why stand when you can sit?

Eh, just one of my many quirks I suppose.  I like doing it :)

As a post-op girl whose boyfriend is a FTM, no it doesn't matter, but hey what do I know?...perhaps I am being biased!  LOL  ;D  So as you see, everything is a matter of interpretation.  A penis doesn't make anyone a "male or a boy", believe me...it doesn't!  *giggles* :)

Loving your own is not like liking other ones.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

You're right. Some guys (though not many) don't really like their penises for one reason or another.

I personally want T and top surgery. I'm on the fence regarding bottom surgery. If I have a phalloplasty I can then penetrate, but it doesn't have it's own erection and it doesn't really look like a penis (to me, anyway). So I see one benefit from it and many failures. I think it's most likely that I'll just make due with a strap on or something... -sigh-  :-\

I don't think STP is a big deal to me, but I might try an inexpensive one that doesn't shape like a penis. I'd just find it weird to carry a penis around...

My legs are pretty hairy, I think, but my dad says they aren't as hairy as a guy's. So I was a little POed because I had a lot of confidence about that until he showed me his legs, lol...

Trust me, I am sure that somewhere out there, (actually about 5 blocks from my house) there is more than one guy who has less leg hair then you, and probably plenty more.

Well, I did a trial run with a couple of different socks today. I guess because it's that time..of the month...I'm going to take this trial with a grain of salt.

What ended up happening, since I don't want to put the socks on the inside of my underwear was I made two different lengths : One three and a half inches, and the other five and a half inches. Then I tied them around the outside of my underwear (only wore one at a time of course, during different times of the day) with some shoelace. I didn't really notice either of them most of the day, I got really comfortable with it.

The only thing was, I was kinda free ballin I guess and my shorts are mens small/boys 18, so whenever I sit down the packer kinda slides down one pants leg or the other. Is this how it's gonna be if I wear boxers? How do people keep these things under control?

Heheh. I can wear it during my period. I don't let it touch my skin directly, otherwise it would get funky and produce feminine stench rather quickly. That's why I double layer.

And yes, the pack will choose a side if you wear boxers. That's one reason I like briefs. I like to feel symmetrical.

Egh.....I've always been a boxers fan :( I hate briefs...but it's kinda weird having it choose a side...

A lot of guys deal with this. And by guys I mean guys with penises. You'll either get used to it or change what kind of panties you want to wear. :) Until my pecker is a part of my body, I won't be wearing boxers. If there comes a time where I have a penis that is connected to my body, I think boxers would be quite comfortable.

One more, apologies if I am instruding on FtoM space.   As a reluctant male, my view is that Boxers might be roomy and healthy but also quite useless when it comes to control.     My current underwear does not include loose or flimsies because my hated testicles just bounce about and of course my small thingy shows under the clothes still, perhaps you boys might dream of such problems and my thoughts seem daft.

The only things I want bouncing around are further up my body  ;)

You ARE short by male standards. Very short, in fact.

Damn, I know but I didn't want to admit it  :D I've always wanted to be six feet tall like my dad, but I know I'm done growing  :-\

I probably should have read the whole thread to see if anyone followed up on this aspect. Yes, the average male height in the US is about 5-feet 10-inches, but that means that half of all American men are shorter. My dad was 5-feet 7-inches. I reached 5-feet 8-inches as a genetic male, but have shrunk to 5-feet 6-and-a-half-inches--possibly from working at UPS where I lift packages up to about 120 pounds without assistance.

My brother-in-law, 5-feet 6-inches has always been an competitive athlete. He grew up running track and playing soccer. He plays tennis, golf, and is nationally ranked in squash. He is also damnably good at word games, particularly Boggle, which is a family favorite. Size has proven no obstacle to success in life--and when I visit Italy I can even see over the crowds. It is the size of your heart, not your frame or private parts, that matters.

Live long and prosper,
S
Choose life.

No way. Even though I want a male anatomy, I won't have fun with my junk bouncing around. It will be uncomfortable, and I'll want some support. I'd like to think of myself as a pretty realistic thinking FtM.

You're not intruding, and LOL at the things further up your body, most of us FTMs don't want those moving at all ;)

i think both those lengths are a little large, especially if visible under the clothes.

most guys have a bit of a bulge, but unless they're getting an erection in their pants (which is a real no-no) you can't judge their length. i'm not including singers like Robert Plant or Tom Jones, who are just scary even in a relaxed state.

a little bit of bulge is most acceptable.  even if the bulge is a little too large, it's extremely noticeable, and indicates an erection (which, again, is just not cool).
