Hi All,

Has anyone ever gone into to have glamor shots of themselves done. How was the photo shots and what was the results? I am thinking of having a photo shot as everyone who see me thinks I look go in a dress. My main worried is my thin hair on top.

Someone I knew did.  They were told to show up en-femme and everything went normally from there.  YMMV

Alice, I have a question for you. I saw in another post of yours (in a much more serious topic) that you go to a store in which a lady named Mary-anne helps you. I was wondering if you happen to be in the Pasadena, Ca area because I have been to a store that has an employee with the same name. Bieng a newbie to dressing and all, if this is the same lady. It would be nice to know that I could have a CG/TG friendly contact. Thanks! Sorry for posting off topic.  :)

Jennifer,

I am a Canberra, Australia. Definatly not the same person. Iam so said that this person has left Canberrra so I hardly ever go back to the store.

LOL!!! Thanks Alice. I could only hope! Unless she's on two continents at once, I really don't think that they are the same person either. <giggling> I had to ask because the lady that I've dealt with is sooo nice and seemed to know what was up. I haven't seen her scince christmas time so I haven't had the chance to let her know that the clothes I was buying were for me. Thank you again, and btw, how did the glamor shots turn out?

Hi All,

Just to let you know.

I DID IT.

is was a wonderfull afternoon and I tried on many different skirts and dresses. I though I looked great on the day and felt great when they said I looked like a woman. I have heard that many times before and that I look natural in a skirt/dress most notiably at my pink party. I am looking forward to seeing the results however it will take a bit of time for the phtots to return.

I was jumping for joy yesterday afternoon   ;D ;D. I just could not contain my elation at the day. If my friends did not know before yesterday that I am TG and a bit crazy they certainly know now (no other workd besides crazy to describe how I was acting). I do not understand the why but I am certainly a lot happy when I just do it. I think the photo shoot was a great day as it proved to myself that my feeling of being TG should not concern me as I have a lot of feminity within me.

I am now looking to set up a pink party Mark II. Everyone will know by then I am TG and it will be an even bigger weight of my shoulders. I already have a pink top and white skirt picked out for the occasion. Sometimes things are just great.

Hi All,

I saw the photos last night and they where mostly great. I couple of them very feminine and I just need to shave/wax my arms as the next step. I will have them back in about 2-3 weeks and will update my avtar as soon as possible.

I lot of my focus yesterday seam to focus on how I looked. I was assure a number of times that I looked feminine, I carried myself in a feminine way and could pass as a woman. I asked how many guys could do what I did and she said that only a few and concluded that I am very feminie - espescially in the way I walked. Well it seams that some things come naturaly as I still do not know what I do to appear that way. However I enjoy wearing my skirts and it very much suites me.

Has anyone else ever had a preoccupation about how well they pass or is this just me? It seams like I am trying to justify why I love to wear my skirts however since it who I am in another sense there is nothing to justify.

The next bit of pressure (repressed excitement?) will likely be, "Oooh, I want to show my friends how I look."  That may mean coming out to some well-chosen friends.  Have fun and good luck.

I think that any one of us would honestly say that we would love to pass.  For some of us it is a reasonable goal, for others it is pure fantasy.  I do not go out dressed en femme very often, but when I do I try to pass.  I am realistic enough to know that I do not pass very well, but I am enough of a dreamer to wish that I did.

Truth be know I think we all do.

:)  Gillian tells me that I'm lucky I'm not a vampire.  I asked why and she said "Vampires can't see their reflection in mirrors and that would drive you crazy".  Ya, ya, she's sooooooooo funny :)
