Gender-bender remake will air on popular music/reality network

Based on the stage musical of the same name, the 23-year-old motion picture followed two straight-laced fiancés, Brad Majors and Janet Weiss, as they became stranded at a remote gothic castle and were taken prisoner and subjected to sexual debauchery by the building's inhabitants: a transsexual alien bent on world domination, his bevy of twisted servants and his genetically engineered, muscle-bound sex slave. It starred Barry Bostwick, Tim Curry, Meatloaf and Susan Sarandon.

There are some movies that just should not be remade.  I heard yesterday that someone is remaking "The Day the Earth Stood Still" with the guy from "Mad Men" as Klatu.  As if they could even come close to the original movie.  And now somebody thinks they can remake "Rocky Horror?"  Puhleze!!!! 

Of course it is MTV so if you are watching it "And you've just had some kind of mushroom and your mind is moving slow" you might not notice the difference. >

WHY are they remaking this movie??? I HATE remakes!! Come up with an original idea for once!! *freaks out and kicks her computer*

No remake will ever replace the original.  
the true test of a script is in what each generation sees within it.   
any good story is retold many times, by many storytellers.

btw the story states 1975 was only 23 years ago.  hey im ten years younger than i thought i was.
