How'd it go?  It was wonderful! I expected to be nervous going in, but I wasn't.  About half a dozen people emailed me in response to the announcement, all expressing support and admiration.  Then I ended up being at work for only half a day - I had a training class in Chicago on Thursday.  So my first full time day ended with a 3 hour drive and staying in a hotel room.  No joyous homecoming (although I wasn't expecting one anyway).

I was out Thursday and Friday as well.  So today, 5 days after starting full time, was my second day in the office.  And I got included in the comments of "Hello, ladies", and everyone was just treating me normally.  I'd say that even though I have some really sucky things going on, I'm genuinely happy for once.
