On Sunday, August 24th, Gottschalks at Country Club Plaza in Sacramento, California will be closing its doors to the public at 6pm and hosting a special private shopping event just for the TG community! The entire ground floor will be open for us to browse, including misses, juniors, women's (plus sizes), accessories, jewelry, shoes, and cosmetics. Shop for sales and clearance items, as well as the latest in fall fashions. Friendly sales associates will be on hand to help you find the perfect outfit, and the staff in cosmetics will be available to provide expert makeup and skincare advice. If you have never shopped en femme, tried on clothing in the store, or had a makeover at a makeup counter...here's your chance for a completely stress-free and fun shopping experience!
Shoppers are welcome to attend in either male or female attire. After shopping, all are welcome to join us for dinner at a nearby restaurant. If you'd like to be a part of this landmark event, please request an invitation from activities@rivercitygems.org so we can let the store know how many to expect. Bring your friends too! Anyone from the transgender community, including family members, friends, and allies, is welcome!
