I'll second that. My wife spent about 30+ hours on me with a OneTouch a few years ago, and the areas/patches she treated remained clear. It can be awkward though when treating yourself - you need good eyesight, a steady hand, and tons of patience. But it does work.

Hi Melissa,

All I meant by going stealth was that I wouldn't be telling everyone that I meet that I'm a transsexual woman, and that I would only tell those that I felt really needed to know. But as said , if questions did arise, I would answer them hoinsestly without beating around the bush. I do have some confidence in my self that I would do fairly well, as long as I'm in the right environment.

I realize that with seeng my electrologist a few times a month it will take  a long time to get finished, so I'll be investing in a lot of disposable razors.  ;D

That's an interesting theory about HRT helping with my rage. But then again like you said it could just be a frustration with my mind and my body.  ???

You see, what my doctor had told me is that my tan, which is pretty permanent, that he could burn my skin and that I may have to invest in alot of sun screen lotion while under treatment. It's not just a matter of staying out of the sun for a few weeks between sessions.

Sounds like you got a good deal on your laser teratment package. I'll have to shop around and see what I can get.

I had tried one of the home electro kits and I was very dissatisfied with it. I'm sure that there are some good ones out there.

What kind of hormone regimen are you on? I don't need to know the doses, just the types of medication. I'm having a little bit of a conflict with what to take.

Gina this is something you need to discuss with your doctor or endo and they should be the ones, along with your input, to decide on what is best for you and what you should take.

I just went on the standard that my doctor gives all her TS patients.

As I've said before, I don't presently have an endo, and my GP and psychiatrist  are not very knowledgable about transsexuallity. So I am self-medicating. I am getting my hormones from an online store.
