Tributes left to gay hate victim

Friends of a man killed in a homophobic attack are planning to hold a march and a three-minute silence in his memory.

Michael Causer, 18, from Whiston, Merseyside, was attacked in Tarbock Road, Huyton, on 25 July.

He was treated for serious head injuries at the Walton Critical Care unit but died on Saturday.

Matthew Fox, from the Liverpool Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Network, said a decision on how to mark his death will be made on Wednesday.
