A teenager strangled a transsexual after taking her out on a date when he discovered she used to be a man, the Old Bailey heard today.

Shanniel Hyatt, 18, covered the body of 39-year-old Kellie Telesford with a white blanket - with the brown furry scarf used to choke her still bound tightly round her neck.

He then stole her mobile phone, freeview box and DVD player and used her Oyster card to catch the bus home, the court was told.

*sigh* It just keeps happening. I still say the problem is always the homophobia of the perp. Guys would mostly rather be anything than be seen as being gay. Stereotype? Yes, but there's a reason this stereotype is one.

I mention it to them when I am asked out as it is usually a public place and thus, a bit safer. I have not had any bad reactions to doing it in that fashion and have gone out on a couple of dates.

yes im not so sure it was wholey a ts attack either,

in the uk for the last year its become very sensationalised for hate crimes especially with the toiletpaper newpapers reporting for headlines and sales.

Eitherway yet another name added to the list, i would never tell any date and why make your life much more complicated than it already is.
