Susan Faye Cannon (1925 - 1982) historian of science.

Walter Faw Cannon was born in North Carolina to a line of Methodist
divines. His father was a former Dean of the Divinity School at Duke
University. He escaped to Princeton University at the precocious age
of 16. His physics degree was interrupted by war service in the US
Navy.
