first, lay a foundation of appr. 5 table spoons of butter.  surround and cover with thinly sliced onions.
liberally add thyme, rosemary, oregano, and garlic.
add a tiny bit of black pepper.

turn on low until the butter melts throughout the onions.

put big ass steak on onions.

apply some tomato sauce in a thin layer over the top of the steak(I used a butter knife).  then sprinkle some mint over this.  turn on med/high

cover steak with a lid to let the flavor work into the sirloin for the first 5 minutes.  remove.

scrape off seasonings(once again I used the flat side of a butter knife)

flip steak.  repeat tomato and mint application.

cover steak for 2 minutes.

uncover.

scrape off seasonings.  let cook to desired bloodiness or lack thereof(I like rare).

put steak on plate.

let sit for 10 minutes.

stuff ur fat face.

Mm, two of my favorites: onions and rare steak. Looks great. Would you come over and cook for me sometime? >_>

This looks great. Thanks for sharing, Annwyn.

For my wife, I'd probably look into adapting this recipe for seitan. I guess, that would make it a seitanic steak.
