From Fear to Love

I know that things are far from perfect (marriage rocky, work transition to come, hairline to either patiently wait to grow in or to attack with a plastic surgeon's scalpel, and probably a few other things as well...) but I feel remarkably able and ready to deal with those challenges today and for the foreseeable future.

It is like I broke through a barrier that has been holding me back somehow, a barrier that was made up of a bunch of self-hatred and disgust that I wasn't aware of until it was gone.
