POEM OF THE SHADOW GIRL

When you speak to me,

I am like the leaf that gathers rainwater--

You are the bloom.

When you need me,

I am like the pillow someone lays her head upon--

You are the dream.

When you touch me,

I am like the cake someone steals some frosting from--

I exist for your desire.

When you are angry with me,

I am like the dented pail forgotten on the lawn--

I hold only emptiness.

And when you smile at me,

I am like a champagne geyser, I bubble and shine--

You are the midnight

You are the one I

Know can never be mine.

Thanks for reading!

That is really beautiful.

You are an exceptional poet, Stealth.

Above all... remember: you are beautiful, you are valuable, and you have a shining spark of magnificence within you. Don't let anyone take that from you. Embrace who you are. <3

Stealth, you don't need kind words from anyone but editors of poetry journals!! You're poems are really excellent and should be collected in a book!

So many "poets" miss the intensity that lyric means. You get that.

Your poems are like perfect 17th century minatures worn as lockets: beautiful, powerful and such wonderful art. I would imagine people would be surprised how much you actually put into the writing to come out with the pieces you do.

Thank you.

Thanks, I think!!?

Never been the subject of a limerick before and have always thought the subjects of those were somewhat less-dignified than "Goddesses of Winter!"  >:D

What the hey, I like it anyhow. :)

Your poem evokes so many sad memories for me.  It is indeed beautiful.

Thank you Ma'am.

You are welcome, but you don't need to call me, "Ma'am."

*sigh* I'm not sure I like having a reputation as a Domme.  I am a switch, and as time goes on Ell's and my relationship has levelled a lot.  I think I'd rather just be plain old Lisbeth.
