Any comments from people that make you think they might be TG?

If 1% of the genetic male population has "gender" issues then some genetic males you know hide they are TG.  I was wondering if some crude male comments might be covering up internal gender issues.

If you are familiar with the brand name product Avodart then you might know it is reasonably successful in shrinking an enlarged prostate.  It is also rather well tolerated with a low risk of prolonged side effects.

This older man (late seventies) that I know well has started taking Avodart for an enlarged prostate.  His comment to me is the following, "Avodart will shrink my penis to the size of a peanut, make me impotent and cause me to grow large breasts.  I will be able to enter a burlesque show!"

In fact this older man always has comments related to gender and/or gay comments similar to the above quote.  Is this typical male crude talk or is this a suppressed TG person fixated on being a girl and/or gay?

if its 1% (and that seems high) then you have to know almost 200 people.  After all, I'm that one percent in the first 100, so you have to go through the second 100 to find that other person.

Well as one stand up comic put it, "Men die first because they want to." ;)

And yes, seems like old man crude talk. Probably worried about those side effects rather than embracing them.

Must be married.

Except that married men tend to live longer than their unmarried compatriots.

What's that saying about "tits on a boar-hog," Wendy? I'd imagine your acquaitance is a prime example! >:D

Nicole what is even worse is married women live shorter than unmarried women!  Think of those implications!

Of course my acquaintance is married and his expression is, "As worthless as tits on a bull."

I guess it is male talk

Thanks.

Hey im new to the site :) i dont think that old man is hiding anything like that, he's probably making jokes to help him cope. I know my grandad does that bout his cancer.  :( You shud look out 4 young men who act macho in front of anyone who might not understand but act different when those people are gone coz theyre usually the ones with closeted sexuality ( whether trans, homo or bi). Hope that helped and hello 2 everyone from a total noob :embarrassed:lol

Hi Claire,

Do enjoy Susan's forum and welcome to you.  No need to be embarrassed but I know the feeling in that I frequently feel embarrassed by my posts.  However you don't learn if you don't ask.

The person I know might be trying to cope as they are very old and quite ill; however, they have been this way for as long as I know this person.  In fact this person has always been extremely verbally abusive and was at one time physically abusive.
