FOX News doesn't have a very clean record when it comes to the
treatment of trans people in the news. Morning show Red Eye showed
horrendous statements regarding pregnant trans man Thomas Beatie, and
now GLAAD has sent out an alert regarding anchor Gregg Jarrett.

During a segment discussing the transgender contestant on the upcoming
season of "America's Next Top Model," Jarrett and US Weekly editor Ian
Drew made disgusting anti-transgender comments.

It would be a lot funnier if people didn't listen to them.  But they do.  So its only tragic.

Why can't they just relocate Fox headquarters in the middle of the Large Hadron Collider so they can be the indicator something is going wrong?

will we ever get a fair break in the eyes of the majority, i suspect not. Ive argued on the msn news boards this week over the murder of a transsexual teen during a sexual encounter.

A vocal amount of people posted that because it wasnt disclosed they somehow deserved it. Jerks like foxx just propigate the stigma's.
"Yet another bigger sigh" i guess it could be worse, i could of been an ethnic minority in the 60's or gay in the 80's.
