When nearly 360 openly lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender
delegates descend on Denver today, four days before the Democratic
National Convention, they will discuss equal rights and
anti-discrimination laws.

But their interest and activism aren't limited. The Stonewall
Democrats, whose conference begins today at the Renaissance Denver
Hotel, will work hard to make the most of the convention and come up
with strategies to help the Democratic Party succeed in state and
local races.
