The Dyke March began, as it always does, at the Human Rights Monument.

It began with the guttural motorcycle roar of "Dykes on Bikes" and a
dancing, twirling, twig of a woman who, on second glance, was
definitely a man.

It marched to the sound of the aboriginal drumming and the cheerful
chatter of moms and moms telling their children, "Not much further,
sweetie."
