lol that reminds me of an incident that happened serveral years ago when we were on a plane. My mom was saying something about if the plane ran out of gas, they should get dad to refill it or something. Well dad remembered this in the plane washroom and ended up giggling and farting in there. Meanwhile there was quite a line up for the washroom. I pity the poor person who was next in line.

How fast hormones get started is different for everyone. It depends mostly on the following factors:
1) Your genetics
2) Your age
3) Your dose
4) Any other conditions that may affect it

I forgot to ask before: how exactly is age a factor? Do younger people get effects quicker, or is it the other way around?

Young people's bodies seem to be more "flexible." This of course all depends on genetics. But I hear if you're younger it'll act more like a natural puberty than a delayed one. For instance, if my boobs will be Cs by the time I'm 25, starting T at 18 might prevent them from ever getting that big.

That is good to know, just another reason I want to start T while I'm still young. The main reason being so that I can enjoy manhood while I'm still young enough to really care. I just figure that if you are younger, you can have some kind of a youth being that sex you want to be.

Don't let this discourage the older guys. I know a guy who transitioned at 40, and he passes 100%. When I met him, I was sure he was a guy. He said he was an FtM and my jaw dropped. I wanted to say, "Prove it," lol. But anyway, later he told me about some of the shortcomings. He can't grow a beard... not much, anyway. He's been on T for around 4 years...

I personally want to start T as soon as possible not for biological reasons... but I just want to start living.

This gives me some hope, actually. I don't mind a bit of lip hair, but I would rather not have any other facial hair. If it comes in sparse and fine, so much the better.

Yeah. I am pretty sure transition will work out well for me. I'm not worried about the results at all. I'm just worried that for some reason they'll tell me, "You can't transition, little girl."

Genetics can effect beard growth.  I know that so not sure about the T effects, but genetically Some Native American tribes are unable to grow facial hair, and are fairly hairless in some parts of body.  Some Caucasians and mixed heritage people have spotty beard growth.

I'm hoping I don't have the spotty beard growth like my father, then again not sure if having a great great grandmother who was Chickasaw Indian on mom's side would effect anything lol  *shrugs*
Every day we pass people, do we see them or the mask they wear?
If you live under a mask long enough, does it eventually break or wear down?  Does it become part you?  Maybe alone, they are truly themselves?  Or maybe they have forgotten or buried themselves so long, they forget they are not a mask?

I am 1/16th Native American... it hasn't affected any of the men in my family, thank the Gods (Me and my Battlestar: Galactica quotes, lol).

I'm hoping I can get sideburns. That's all I want. Maybe I'll try a mustache or a soul patch. But that's it. I don't think I'll ever be a beard guy.

That's generally all I keep.  Everything else itches the hell out of my neck/face/girlfriend. ;D

-sigh- I hope I can manage to grow them. My dad had them in the 70's, methinks.

Oooh, gosh!  No Elwood, not those bush things..  they're short.  As short as my fade.  :D
  •

Elwood

Eh? Bush things? :icon_eek: I guess if you don't keep them neat they can look that way...

I mean, Johnny here's got the uh... mutton chops...

But that's way too much for me. I want mine to be a little more... modest.
These boys got the right idea.
