NEW HAVEN, CT, August 31, 2008 - On August 18, 2008, the Connecticut Alliance for Business Opportunities (CABO), Connecticut's first statewide gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender chamber of commerce, held their first event at the Pilot Pen Tennis Tournament at the Connecticut Tennis Center at Yale.
Thirty members and prospects of CABO gathered in The Courtside Club - a semiprivate suite overlooking stadium court on Monday evening, a week ago, to watch Alize Cornet of France face Nicole Vaidisova of the Czech Republic in a rematch of their first-round Olympic meeting in Beijing. Anne Worcester, the Pilot Pen Tennis Tournament Director brought Jurgen Melzer of Vienna Austria, ranked 48th in the world, and Bethanie Mattek, ranked 45th in the world for a quick meet and greet with CABO members
