I've finally gotten hormones! And so many changes so quickly

After a 'longer than usual' wait for hormones [complications, additional bloodwork, and one MRI scan later] I was finally given the subscription from my endocrinologist last tuesday [or monday. . .  something like that].

I've seen a lot of videos on YouTube from transgirls who had gone through minimal changes for 2 months so I wasn't expecting anything physically noticeable for weeks. I started my regime about 4 days ago and within the first day my chest had completely 'changed shape' as it were and my breast continued to grow quite quickly. I'm now already an A cup and my hips are really starting to take form and my cheeks are much more 'marshmallow-ish'. I'm so surprised at how quickly and seamlessly my body is taking to the new hormone regime. 'Thought I might share.

Really?  I've never heard of hormones doing anything that fast - that's incredible.

Really? How come?

Keep in mind my case is a bit different since I already had a SMALL bit of breast growth before starting anyway - but I assure you, I have nothing to gain for making this up. I just wanted to share.

That's not terribly supportive. Unless, of course, you're an endocrinologist. If you are, I apologise.

Everyone responds differently. I think that it's really wonderful that you're doing so well!

Never underestimate the power of positive thinking, too.  The brain has way more control over the body than we give it credit.  :)
