Exactly, and its not impossible for a girl to sing bass either. Its not as common, but its still possible.

It really doesn't matter. Some men can sing really high, too. I don't think it has only to do with the note/pitch.

yeah except...

listen to the vocal tropes used by males and females. they're pretty different, and i don't bloody wanna sing like a girl--regardless of range. That's why i'm hoping i can eke in under speech pathology's umbrella (ella ella).

I'm going nuts right now, because I used to sing all the time, and had perfect pitch, and now... well, I can sing along with Cake songs perfectly, but that's it. 6 months on T turned my former soprano into almost a bass, and I have NO CLUE how to use it! Hopefully soon I can afford voice lessons, because after 25, almost 26 years of having a girly voice, I'm a little unaccustomed to my new timbre.

Some of it's physical, Sebastien. It'll take time for your voice to settle down. Happens to bio guys too in the teenage years. Just practice without overworking it and it'll come in time. Your range will keep increasing as well - especially the higher bits.
