LGBT leaders rally for Wilkerson

In the last week before the Sept. 16 primary MassEquality has called in the big guns to support the re-election bid of state Sen. Dianne Wilkerson. Today the organization released an open letter to the LGBT community, signed by 37 community leaders, urging people to vote for Wilkerson during the primary. Wilkerson faces a strong challenge from Sonia Chang-Diaz, a fellow progressive who has criticized Wilkerson's highly publicized campaign finance violations and financial difficulties.
