Beautiful girl

Her story does touch me, though. I thought it was a good scene when she was giving herself an injection (I know, that sounds weird, but of course we're talking estrogen here). I can't remember which girl stayed with her, but it was nice. And at the very end, I didn't cry when Isis was saved, because I thought she would be. I cried when Tyra said to her, "beautiful girl." I'm crying now as I type that.

Beautiful girl. I'm far from that, but somehow I feel a connection to Isis. I care about what happens to her. In some way, she represents the aspirations of trans women. Not that all trans women want to be models, of course, but just as kind of a validation of her—and our—femininity. Her aspirations are way beyond mine, or those of anyone I know, but I want to see her get the prize, to show that she can be better than them all. She has some work to do!
