I think sexual taste is far more diverse among women than among men. Some women, including my wife, are very accepting my crossdressing whereas other women are picky and sometimes hostile to me. Generally speaking, women who are very interested in their appearance and have some confidence tend to be more accepting. A few women who showed hostility toward my crossdressing tend to be indifferent to their appearance or have less confidence.
About 10 years ago in the U.S., I stopped at a house to buy a used bed with my kids after reading ads in a town magazine. It was early fall, and a beautiful woman at her 30's came out to greet us. While I picking up the bed, she praised my tanned legs, and asked whether I got a sun tan. I replied that it is a kind of natural sun tan. That was the first time that a caucasian woman praised my legs in the U.S.
On the other hand, a woman at my age, who was catholic and rather fat compared with other East-Asian women, strangely showed hostility toward my body shape and crossdressing. She scorned my thin waist, commenting how a man can have such a slender waist. She seemed to be most indifferent to her appearance compared with other women at my age.
A few month ago, one marriend woman at my age criticized jokingly my crossdressing and feminine appearance. She argued that I am a man, and a man should have manly body, not feminine body. She has a rather fair face but have a pot. A few days later, she suddenly became very friendly to me, praising my body shape. I was a little bit confused on her caprice. She seems to be emotional but outspoken.
My wife sometime becomes upset about too feminine fashion items such as tube top. About a month ago, I left my red-striped tube top in the laundry after wearing it at a beach with my family, and I can not see it any more. I suspect my wife hid or dumped it. I cherish the tub top so much, praying that she did not threw it away.
Most women at my workplace are very accepting, but there are some women who do not like my crossdressing but can not express it openly.
In any case, generally speaking, women are more accepting than men.
