Hi,

I don't see why a crossdresser can't just go full time if they desire to. 

Is anyone here full time?  If not, Is there anyone here who would gladly go full time if it were perfectly acceptable (as it should be) in society?

Also, if you would love to be full time, or even, just most of the time, what is stopping you?

I don't crossdress, I'm just curious.  I believe that people should just live as they're true selves.  Maybe someday no one will have to think twice about it.

I did.  I had the opportunity to go full time, thinking that it would be my real life test before I gave any money to the medical/therapy community (sorry Nichole).  I did it for almost - 10 months - a year.  If not 'acceptable' in SF, it was at least, no big deal to anyone I knew or met.  I decided on another path, on that included that, but did not exclude other paths either.

But I know a few full time CDs I guess, they have no intention or want, or need to take the drugs or have the operations - for whatever reasons.  And they seem happy in the life they have.  What else is the standard?

only happiness is the standard. I'd like to see everyone happy. That would make my standard.

Though going fulltime is a nice thought, I doubt I ever will. Maybe someday though. I dont really have the guts for that, Id need someone to give me professional makeup or something and Id only be willing to go fulltime if I was -completely- passable.

I would be a full time CD. I wear skirts and camis in the house and my wife doesn't mind.
I'm not transitioning or taking hormones. I'm just one happy and content cross dresser.

I do in 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Of course, I avoid skirts and heels at my work place.
I have not tried any hormone.

Some of us cant go all the way with srs because of famaily jobs and other reasons.  You dont need srs to be a true woman.  I am on hrt but probably will not ever have srs even though it would be a dream come true.

Currently it would be impossible for me, as I'm still too shy to show anybody my crossdressing. and honestly I don't think I'd want to ever be "full" time. there are many people inside of me, some are very masculine and some are very feminine. for me, being a girl full time would be just as repressing of myself as not crossdressing would be, although my personalities tend to stray more to the female side than the male, the male is still there.

I think my dream, is to walk on the edge of a sword, on my right being female and my left being male, so that just the slightest push to either side can change the way I am viewed by others and myself.   

the slogan under the sites banner being so closed to the way I thought of this to myself is actually the reason I decided to make an account here.

Sorry, I'm trans, but I think I can still relate. I do cross dress full time, it is hard because people keep calling me a lesbian and stuff...

I think people don't cross dress full time if they're just cross dressers because their identity doesn't depend on it and I'm sure they hate the rude comments as much as transsexuals do.

women can were all there clothes and if they wear men's clothes they gets a little mocked but not even close to what a guy in women's clothes get

see this:

women can wear:dress,skirt,tops,bra,bikini,trikini,swimsuit,high heels,makeup,pants,shorts,short shorts,mini skirts,some guys clothes,and more

men can wear:t-shirts*,pants*,shorts*,sweatshirts*,shoes,boxers, and more(but not as much as girls).

*= women can also wear

so you see, the clothes sistem isn't fare and i think that's why there are much more mtf than ftm

I almost do, I suppose. Not like beautiful Barbie up there, but since I usually work at home, I wear (or don't wear) whatever I want most of the day. I've always been a truly lazy crossdresser at best, so it's pretty much just casual wear with no makeup or jewelry for the most part. Lately, I wear my hair in a casual chin-length flip I set in curlers in a normally feminine style. I'm most comfortable in jean and a t-shirt or sweatshirt no matter what. I don't usually wear a bra to the supermarket or hardware store, but I'm sure my overall look is androgenous at best.

I love the idea of going full time, or even most of the time. But the reality is a different matter.

I live alone, and I've acquired a decent female wardrobe, so I could dress up whenever I'm home. But when I've tried it, I find it doesn't work for me. Why not?

First, I'm scared that someone will stop by unexpectedly, or I'll trip and break a leg, or whatever. So it's hard for me to relax and enjoy myself. If I do it too often, or if I stay dressed for more than an hour or so, I feel like I'm tempting fate.

Second, I keep my female wardrobe hidden away, just in case some visitor accidentally looks in my closet. So it takes some work to get the stuff out and hide it away again.

Third, when I'm relaxing at home, I'd like to relax. What do most women wear when they're relaxing? Jeans and tee shirts. What's the fun in that?

And I'm not really passable -- at least not without a lot of makeup help and a full-body wax job! -- so I don't try to go out in public. And I'm too scared to go to CD-friendly clubs.

As a result, going full-time, or even full-time at home, is a wonderful fantasy, but for me, it's going to stay a fantasy.

Id love to, but dont really have the guts; so many people know me around town.
If I moved somewhere far away where people were accepting and maybe I knew a few other "girls" I might be comfortable with it.

At this point, I don't have any real desire to go full-time. But, that doesn't mean I'll change my mind in the future.

But as an androgyne, presenting as male or female full-time would seem limiting to me. Ideally, I would present full-time as indeterminite. That, to me, is the most attractive body form: when the person's biological sex can't be determined.

I wish we could more readily do as we please.

If a CD is a male and "goes full time," then that would indeed (to me) suggest that they are presenting themself as a woman full time.

I think the differenence between a CD and a TS (from the point of view of this CD) is that a CD doesn't have the desire to actually make the physical change. So, I guess that would indeed make a full-time CD a non-op TS. At least, from my point of view.
