A few times recently I've tried to post in a thread, and I'll have typed out quite a bit, but then when I hit the "post" button it'll come up outlined in red with something along the lines of "message box is empty" written above it, even though it'll be full.

Does this happen to anyone else, and am I doing anything wrong?

This did happen a while back, too, and whilst I'm not sure what the exact nature of the problem is, it was discovered that it tended to happen when the Quote tags were used in the post, to quote part of someone else's post... and not using them seemed to make it stop happening (thanks to Nichole for suggesting that).

Give that a try and see if it makes any difference.

It seems to be a glitch that crops up occasionally, Lutin. Leaving out quotes and using the Italics to quote seemed to clear up the problem.

There's another problem that also creeps in occasionally as well, when the post posts but appears blank. I've been able to copy the post to text edit and then save it to Word and it will then post from there. Often it requires someone else to post on the thread after the post as well.

The pattern's been there for a long while and it appears, both, to crop up randomly.

    and not only that but i have noticed  that at times when posting in the forum,s or even reading. it seams like the system

gets this sudden rash of brupping . and then i get the serve is too busy . or the the database is not  avable at this time. and then

if iam lucky eough to some how get my post posted where i was posting it . it some how ends up being the last post that was posted to

when it  would have been the 2 or 3 post from the end  . but still iam glad we got the forums and everything. . and myself i just

copy and paste my post in word  doc .and then  when i get loged back on . i check the post . and if it did not go . i then repost it .
