I got my first SIR today at Target today.  I was standing in the line waiting my turn.  A new cashier opened up behind me, and she said, Sir, I can help you over here.  At first I didn't realize she was talking to me until I turned around and I was the only one there!  I almost burst out laughing from the sheer joy of it.  If she thought she made a mistake when I turned around she didn't act like it.

You have no idea how much I needed that boost!!

I'm going to a conference in 2 days and plan to use the men's room the whole time.  I'm registered for the conference as Jay.  So the fact that I passed at least ONCE is helpful!!!

I can NOT wait for top surgery!!  Still don't have anyone to go with me; my brother now says he will if he can get the time off (but hasn't asked -- I need to buy plane tickets!!) but a woman at work said she'd go with me if my brother can't.  She's my right-hand woman at work.  I'm not out to her yet but she'll be cool with it.

Well whatever hairbrained scheme my brother was cooking up fell through I think, but he said hey, what the hell, I've never been to SF...he didn't ask for time off cuz his boss was in a firing mood all week, but I hope to buy tickets next week.
