Margaret Ann

After lurking about for quite a while I've finally decided to register and join in some discussions here.

But basically, I have an interest in the psychology of identity. As a trans-woman I live my life inside a very special identity that not many of us humans ever experience. I think this can give us insights that may not be available to those with more ordinary gender experiences. I like to explore all aspects of this topic and I love to hear others' ideas on these things.

Hi Margaret Ann,

Welcome to our little family. Over  2024 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion. Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers.  Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now.  And it is always nice to have another Sister.

Hi Christy, Thanks. I'm just starting to get a feel for how big this place is. I've lurked here in the past but never explored much. Seems there's a lot to offer here.

We are having the most wonderful weather now - which always comes in Sept and Oct in the Pacific Northwest of the USA. Glad to hear a similar report from the UK.  8)

Thanks, Margi

Don't worry Margi,

I'm sure we will be back to rain again over here soon !.....

The only problem I find with this site, is once you come in, it's easy to loose track of time.....  ;D

Hi Janet, I just love this time of year. We've been enjoying morning coffee and dinners also on the deck almost every day. What a treat. It will disappear soon enough I suppose. But really, I like all the seasons here, even the rain. Seattle has a decent public transportation system so all the museums and theaters can be found without having to drive and park. I take it you live in this region too. When my partner and I met we each had a house and just haven't got rid of the one extra house yet, so we basically get to be in Seattle on Capital Hill or out here on The Olympic Peninsula - where we are today - as we wish. It would be nice to pare down to one house but we'll have to give up the Seattle place to do it which I enjoy most in the winter. I won't miss the big city taxes though.  ::)

Margi,

I know.  I really like the weather here too, but the rain gets me down some time.  And where I live, in Portland, we get the winds from the Gorge and it gets pretty strong.  But I have a lovely view of Mount Hood, which I love to look at in the winter.  I lived in Bremerton for awhile, and I loved the Peninsula.
