Evangelical Couple Deliberately Joins the Gay Legal Ghetto

Here is a fascinating headline:  An evangelical pastor is advising couples not to sign California's gender-neutral marriage licenses as a protest.

The story goes on to say that the pastor has persuaded his daughter and her spousal unit not to sign their marriage license because "Bride" and "Groom" were replaced with "Party A" and "Party B" after the advent of marriage equality.  Their marriage is not legal unless they sign the marriage license and register it with the state.

What fascinates me about this is that this couple is choosing the very legal limbo that gay couples are trying to climb out of via civil marriage.  Fundies, welcome to the Gayborhood!
