I am out and fulltime at work, but some of my clients/customers don't know yet! My peers at work have been doing a good job respecting me and using proper pronouns, at least in my presence.
I think I need to tell my existing client base of this change via a letter or something of the like. rather than let them find out by accident and avoid that awkard moment. Keep in mind that these are mostly men(plumbers,HVAC and building contractors). Does anyone have any suggestions or even possibly a short to the point letter that worked for them I could plagerize. LOL
Any advice would be helpfull!
Thanks
Jonni

Just do your job. The drama will happen no matter what.

What do you expect to gain by outting yourself?

Even if they did find out you have the support of your co-worker's. So, if your client can't deal you might be able to pass the client to a co-worker?  Which could mean that your still trying to help the Company and not distract from the business at hand.

idk, giggles, i really dont.. just my opinion. Drama just happens in my life.

The ones you don't see for 6 months or so,  don't worry about.  Those that knew you before,  well it's better just to show up and be you.  No letter is needed. If they ask then maybe tell them, but otherwise keep them guessing.   I work with contractors, engineers and architects too.  Oddly enough if they did not see me for 6 months they did now know I use to be different.  weird how it was.  After six months gee no big deal.  I did not have one bad experence, but don't generally deal with guys below foremen.

Relax, breath and be you
