I ran into my Mom at Walmart on Wednesday night. I hadn't seen her in two months because she was out of state. She has seen me twice in public before since I started Transition, but I'm really beginning to be indistinguishable from other women. When I said "Hi" , and she realized who was speaking to her the look on her face was awful. I'd never seen my mom look at me with such disgust. sigh.
In Alaska we get an Oil Revenue Permanent Fund Dividend. It's about 3,200 dollars this year. Mine should be here next week. I've already made a shopping list to get me a real wardrobe. All I own right now is an old blue dress, and a pretty mauve skirt, but it's beginning to come apart. I also have a few tops, one pair of black tights, but they are full of runs. I can't wait!
