This is sort of cross dressing, in a way, because I tend to dress masculinely. This is more like metrosexual, or maybe an expression of the gayer side of me. I don't know, but it was fun and I got a lot of dirty looks at the supermarket today. ;D And for more fun, I took my glasses off for these pictures.

It would have been more effective if I wore my tight-ish black jeans with it, but I just wore my normal guy jeans.

I like the pictures elwood you do pass. I think you pass better with out the glasses dude. I dress quite camp sometimes depends on what mood I am in to be honest!

But cool pics!

You look really nice, elwood. I agree, you do look better without the glasses (but obviously you need them to see. How about changing frames or something?).

I don't understand the use of the word "->-bleeped-<-" here, but you do look male to me.

Dan, did anyone ever tell you that you kinda look like a young Corey Feldman? Particularly without your glasses. Hmm... maybe it's just me. I think it's your eyes, and the shape of your mouth.

Definite resemblance. :)

You do pass really well. Natural male features.

I find it kind of offensive.

Thanks, guys. I am considering getting contacts.

For those who are confused by the use of the word "->-bleeped-<-," I believe it is quite okay for me to use it since I would ->-bleeped-<- men (that is, if I can find a way to block out the dysphoria related). The word is not one I use lightly, however, the choice was "queer" or "homo" or "->-bleeped-<-." Since queer was too general and I find homo more offensive, I stuck with the last one. Before you consider yourself a better thesaurus than me, consider that I had already taken into consideration the words "gay man" and "gay person" and "gay male" and "twink." Those, however, are more offensive. To say I was dressed like a "gay male" would mean I was perpetuation a horrific stereotype on ALL gay men. The word "->-bleeped-<-" narrows down to a particular group (namely, the stereotypical group) and thus was more appropriate in this context. "Twink" isn't even a word in my vocabulary, now that I have learned quite well what the word means.

I think you look like a boy, by which I mean, young man. Teen boy. whatever.

OK, I get it now. Thanks for the clarification.

A friend of mine is a self-described middle-aged queen. The only time he uses the words "->-bleeped-<-" or "->-bleeped-<-got" is when describing the "pretty-boy ->-bleeped-<-s" that bother him so much. If I understand properly, I think he's using the term essentially the same way you are.

of course in england, dressing like a ->-bleeped-<- means this:

because a ->-bleeped-<- is a term for cigarette.

If you want to have a go here the terms; poof, nancy boy, screaming queen or dirty Omo are used.

We do find it kind of funny when the Brit roadies want to know where to buy some ->-bleeped-<-s.

especially when they are 'gasping' for one.

LOL !

I tend to look at them all weird (not hard for me) and say "Funny you should ask that in San Francisco" at which point they get all like "Oh no mate, not like that, you know, a smoke."  Of course I've worked enough of those Brit types that I even know that when they say (OK, its the Scotts who really do it) "Oooot 'n aboot" that they mean 'out and about.'

Two cultures separated by a common language and all.

Between the scots and the english it's seperation by a common language.
Between the english and the english - you must have met some geordies.

I'll see your Scotts and Englishmen and raise you some Aussies, who not only speak it in a different way, but seem to have created an entire vocabulary that no one else gets either.
