I know there was a thread a few weeks back about harnesses or something...and this plastic harness that someone wore, but in truth that's a little complicated for me...

I got my packy/STP a couple of weeks ago! But haven't worn it full time yet :( I'm a boxers guy and I stand by it, so I need some sort of harness... I've heard the mango harness is bad, and I can't sew anyway so that's kinda out of the question for me....

I feel like using my shoelace would be really harmful to my packer/STP and making it last....

So what do you guys use? I don't have the money to go out and buy more expensive things, so home made ideas please?

Try the shoelace/hairtie method.  Put the hairtie around the packie (above balls, below shaft).  (you might have to double it up)  Tie the shoelace to the hair tie, not the packer itself.

Jock strap.  No sewing necessary.

God why didn't I think of that!? You rock Jay

I just want something to hold it in place, and still give me easy access to it when I need to pee, so the jock strap is looking good, maybe I'll alter it and cut a small hole in the front just to have something to fit the shaft through....

Jock straps don't work if you wear low rise jeans.

I don't wear low rise, I wear loose/baggy style...

Unless they're around your wast, the waistband will stick out

They make them, I have one, but unfortunately it was discontinued and I can't find another one.  If you're just packing and not using an stp, if you get a jock with a cup, you can take the cup out and have a pocket for your packy to prevent accidental escape.

Now that I started using the men's room I'm using my stp more.  Gearing up to brave the urinal.  I so wanted to do that on my trip but left the stp home, thinking I'd be too nervous to use it.  Probably would have, but I really wanted that option.
